The AR(T) of words
’THE AR(T) OF WORDS’ IS A PHYSICAL INSTALLATION WHICH IS PART OF A TOUR OF THE MEMENTO WORD FESTIVAL
We want the visitors to discover literature in a new way trough the Memento app connected to the installation. With Augmented reality we bring the book Black-Out by Dalilla Hermans to life. We strengthen the story with audio in a way of storytelling to make the experience even more powerful.

We made a short version of the story in Augmented reality. We created an voice-over and added some sound effects to make it as real as possible. A 3D world was created that was shown around the user and changes during the story.
Memento woordfestival was a tour with multiple activities around the city of Kortijk. We created the app so people could use our Augmented Reality story on the right spot of the tour.
